From First To Last

What the hell is a blog? Wikipedia defines it as "Error 404: Page not found" which I think means that I need to pay my internet bill, so give me a second to go do that.

Okay, so I've determined that what I do on Mastodon (https://tech.lgbt/@LittleOwl) is called Microblogging. So this what I'm doing here must be called macroblogging. Midblogging? Ventiblogging? Medium sized blogging.

I'm told that the term blog comes from the portmanteau of web and log, combined into weblog, shortened to blog. You're smart, I didn't need to hold your hand through that but if I don't free-associatively vomit my thoughts at you then I stop existing, so indulge me, I beg.

This right here is called a "first post". Wikipedia defines a first post as "stop stealing this bit from Philosophy Tube and get a fucking job". Jesus, the wikipedia editors are angrier then usual, hope it wasn't something that I did.

Okay so I guess sometimes I'll have thoughts and words and ideas that don't fit into a toot. That's cool, don't we all, and then when I get thoughts thoght-word-ideas I come here and like, fill up this textbox instead of the microblogging one. Can I just say that it's incredible that Blogger still exists? I thought for sure it would fucking die as AI makes the written word an untrustworthy relic. Video still seems okay for now, but art seems kinda fucked.

Anyway, the internet needs to be more human. In service of that I plan to write human words. There will be typos. There will be poor grammar. There will be takes of such poor quality that it may in fact kill another human being, but yours is a sacrifice I am willing to pay.

May this be the first of many, may it not be the last. This has been your semi-regular update from a cute trans gal who wishes only to brighten your day and earn some internet clout.
